If something about your pet’s behavior or condition concerns you, it is always appropriate to contact your veterinarian. Our team understands that urgent situations can happen at any time, and we are here to help guide you through them.

You know your pet better than anyone. Changes in behavior, energy level, appetite, or comfort can sometimes be the first sign that something is wrong. If you notice anything that seems unusual or out of character for your pet, trust your instincts! If it is during our regular business hours, call the clinic at 940-487-0091. If it is after hours please reach out to one of the emergency animal hospitals below.
 

If your pet experiences any of the following, please seek veterinary care right away:

• Difficulty breathing or labored breathing
• Ingestion of a potentially toxic or harmful substance
• Traumatic injuries such as being hit by a car, burns, animal bites, or significant falls
• Refusing food or being unable to eat
• Concerning symptoms or complications following a recent surgery
